Very professional from the initial phone call up to the day of delivery. They would give updates via email and texts letting me know a few days beforehand they were scheduled, right up to the day of picking up my sleeper sofa and sleeper chair that they were available to come an hour earlier. The day of pickup the two guys were very friendly and professional, they wrapped my furniture to protect it and even offered to move another piece of furniture back into place. I chose Blue Dolly over two competitors based on their written estimate: $453 (stated range $400–$575), 2 movers, arrival 12–2 PM. The reality: the crew arrived at 1:30 PM — 90 minutes late — and finished at 6:30 PM. The final bill was ~$1,000, nearly double the estimate and well above the top of their own range. This was a light load: ~1,000 lbs, ~35 boxes, no beds or appliances. Recently used them for a local move. The crew of 3 were great and worked hard. I worked with them to repair a damaged door hinge and they fixed it within a week of notifying them. Leaving 4 stars because the crew ran really late (beyond the estimated window) and didn’t proactively reach out to let me know. I had to call, leave a voicemail and then wait for a response.
