RecommendedIt had been 39 years since we hired a moving company and we didn’t know where to start to find one. Thankfully we found a referral to Helix Moving & Storage. From our first phone call (talked with Peter) to our last handshake with our on-site movers in MI (the two of them were amazing, just like the three who loaded our belongings in VA) we were consistently impressed. Our recent move was the first of at least two and we certainly will be using Helix again. We definitely recommend them.

This experience was absolutely amazing! Mike and his crew were so kind, helpful, patient and efficient. I was a mess and they were so patient with me and helped me organize my packing and move to two separate stops out of state. They spoke with me first to devise a plan then acted on it and moved quickly. They partially packed and moved a two bedroom condo in about 2.5 hours. I highly recommend securing Mike and his team!

Mike and Rolando are the best. They are so efficient and showed up when I needed it most for a very reasonable price. I would recommend them to anyone moving in the DMV area and would definitely use their services again if I need to move.
I cannot say enough good about Helix Moving and Storage! Daniel and Fernando were kind, courteous and respectful of our home and our belongings! They were also super fast and efficient! Helix Moving was absolutely phenomenal! They communicated everything that would be involved from start to finish, every step of the way we were taken care of. The moving crew that helped us day of ( Srecko, Djordje and Fernadno) were so quick, packing everything with care and making sure our move went seamlessly. This is who you want for your next move in the DMV!
Start to finish, this company was great to work with. I had a complicated move from VA to ME and there was zero issue! Manny communicated effectively, was polite and patient with the multiple people he had to deal with in this process. I can’t imagine I’ll need to use them again but I highly recommend them!!
