Please avoid. I hired for labor to load my pod. The movers showed up 45 minutes late with no consideration. Once our pod arrived to our new home, many items were damaged. They did not pack It correctly or buffer anything. I reached out on this and they sent me a claim form. I filled It out, sent It back and waited. Heard nothing for over a month. I reached out to find out they “never got It”... Ridiculous.
We recently used this moving company and had an excellent experience from start to finish! Liz was fantastic during the initial walkthrough—she was thorough, professional, and did a great job preparing us for moving day. She helped us understand the process and set realistic expectations for cost, which made everything feel much more manageable. The absolute best two guys moving me from North Carolina to Ohio! The two men who move me were courteous respectful and did everything in a timely matter. I couldn't ask for anything more. Highest recommendation for Southern Moving and Storage. Miller and Kevin called to let me know exactly when they would arrive. They were polite, professional and friendly. They also worked quickly and efficiently not wasting any time. They bill by the hour, so this was greatly appreciated! They took care and wrapped carefully, they brought things in and asked where each item should go, set up the beds, and the couch. The easiest move I have ever had and thanks to Southern Movers for making it so!
