Update: they reached out and were very apologetic about the miscommunication with our move and offered to move our storage unit for free. We agreed and everything went smoothly. While my original review stands and I would not recommend them for any sort of multi-step move, we do appreciate them making things right and I think they would do a good job moving from point A to point B. U Relax came recommended as a “community supporter” in a FB group I’m in. I should have seen the red flags when I was the one following up with them over two weeks making sure all was set for the date we confirmed on. I hired U Relax Moving & Hauling for two moves totaling over $5,000. The owner Ronaldo offered to store my belongings in a climate controlled storage unit for $250 a month while I relocated. What I discovered months later is that my belongings were never in a storage unit... they were in the back of an untagged moving truck with a broken rear window, exposed to months of temperature extremes. U relax DMV Movers damaged much of my furniture. Ronaldo broke my wooden bar and left several gouges in the wood, ripped my new Tempur-pedic boxspring, they left my white couch filthy and scratched up the wood floors at my new home.
