Donna. I hate to see this post as in 26 years of business we have Never cancelled on any of Our customers unless whether has prevented us from moving that day, however, even then we do not cancel. We reschedule them to the very next day that we can move when roads are clear. so I’m thinking you may have booked with a different company and are mistaken them for us 
We hired Firehouse to help us move several weeks ago. Booking was a breeze. Getting a quote was easy. Having them actually moving our items was a whole different story. The movers arrived and barely spoke two words to us other than asking what they were moving. I asked them about boxes for our TVs because we had inquired about them prior to the move. Pro's: 1) Admin staff was friendly, easy to work with, and communicated well. 2) Affordable. Con's: 1) Lack of consistency. Clear from reviews that it is hit or miss whether you'll get a talented professional or someone who doesn't care. 2) Lack of response after the move is completed. Put in a request for a claim and it's been months of battling and I keep sending a request for an update but suddenly no one is responding to me.
