Have followed up with Anthony several times to confirm a move home (from storage to new home) scheduled on the phone for June 30. I have gotten no response. I also prepaid for the move when I moved out of my house in 2021. I have asked Anthony to confirm receipt of my paid invoice as he keeps asking for further money. He has not done so and has refused to reply to me.
NEVER USE Great Job Moving and Storage – they are downright thieves and con artists. Our move started with moving out of our sold home on April 24th, 2023. Great Job Moving and Storage was to hold our items in the truck for 4 days until April 28th, 2023, when we were to move into our new home. We were assured by the salesperson that we would have 4 movers for the move and that they had a 3-hour minimum that would be based on the move from the sold house and our move into the new home. It was a horrible experience! Please beware! I didn't and this was my mistake. I'm offering this warning. The company did an online inventory assessment. We discussed every item that would be moved via this phone conversation, and I overestimated the number of boxes (45). I initially was not going to hire them because of several bad reviews and my previous moving experience. Truly the worst moving experience of my life. I have moved several times - both locally and across the country - and never have I had an experience like this. First of all, their estimate turned out to be half of the actual price of the move. Any reasonable person would expect an estimate to be off 10, maybe 15%….but not 100%. charge more than quoted. driver gave themselves a 205.00 dollar tip we did not authorize. took long time to settle cliam.hard time reaching them after move.they stall on claim so you run out of time file. i would never use them again
Great job moving and storage out of Virginia. Unfortunately was the most horrible experience. Broken three pieces of my furniture antiques and was promised to be sent a form for reimbursement or repairs. Repeated phone calls, emails with no response. Jayson Chapman was my contact person and will not take my calls respond to my emails. Terrible experience from start to finish (Late, Wrong Truck, Damaged Belongings, Rude & Bill was $200 over Estimate!!). Our truck was over 2.5 hours late and we were on a deadline (every time we called they said they were 20 minutes away). They then brought the wrong size truck, which was way too small, and required them to jam 2X the amount of stuff that should be in that size truck.
